Now that we've got your attention -
Answers to your unasked questions.

Why Shakespeare?
Because a large majority of the troupe have found Shakespeare to be lots of fun and they requested I do another Shakespeare comedy.

It it hard?
No
Okay it is no harder than plays by Pinter, Williams , Miller, Saroyan, or Wilson. If you said who more than 5 times you can’t count.

Will I need to talk funny?
Occasionally actors will be asked to tell a joke or two, use a different dialect or maybe even make animal sounds - but we will not be using Shakespearean English because it’s to hard on the audience.

Do I really need a memorized monologue?
Nope, but it is very helpful for me so that I can better judge your vocal ability and the amount of time you are willing to invest.

Does it really need to be Shakespeare?
Nope, but again it offers you a chance to show your stuff.

Do I really need to read the whole play?
Well...it helps prevent men from reading Juliet’s part and women from reading Romeo's part.

I’m scared!
It really isn’t a question but know this, no one has - as of this writing - died of embarrassment while auditioning for us.

Show up and you get a part. It’s that simple. It’s also perhaps the bravest thing you will ever do. It may even change your life.
